Brain Tumour is the 4th leading cause of death in Malaysia. In order to increase awareness of brain tumour, our Consultant Neurosurgeon, Dr Chong Chee Yong, was invited to explain about ‘How Much Do You Know About Brain Tumour?’ on 11th December 2019.  Brain tumour is the growth of cells in the brain that multiplies in an abnormal and uncontrollable way. It can be cancerous (malignant) or non-cancerous (benign). As brain tumour can cause cerebral dysfunction, behavioural personality changes, headache and seizures are ones of the common signs and symptoms of brain tumour. As brain tumour has high mortality rate, anyone with consistent and severe headache should see neurosurgeon for examination and early treatment.
